1. Scalar Quantity
-is the measurement of a medium strictly in magnitude.
2. Vector Quantity
-is a measurement that refers to both the magnitude of the medium as well as the
direction of the movement the medium has taken.
3. Motion
-is the change in position of an object with respect to its surroundings in a given
interval of time.
4. Time
-is defined by its measurement which is Time. Can be expressed as seconds,
minutes, hours and etc.
5. Distance
-is a scalar quantity that refers to "how much ground an object has covered"
during its motion.
6. Displacement
-is a vector whose length is the shortest distance from the initial to the final
position of a point P.
7. Speed
-is the distance traveled per unit of time. It is how fast an object is moving.
8. Velocity
-is a measure of how fast something moves in a particular direction.
9. Acceleration
-is a measure of how fast velocity changes.
11. V-T Graph-a horizontal line indicates the object is travelling at a constant
speed.
