1. Put the vehicle into gear (manual transmission) or park. 2. Gather your supplies. You will be needing the appropriate new clean oil for your vehicle. Make sure that the oil is according to the engine spesifications. 3. Remove the oil cap. Open the hood and locate the oil cap on top of the engine. 4. Find the oil pan. Under your car, look for a flat metal pan closer to the engine than the transmission. 5. Place the oil recovery pan (drain pan) underneath the engine. 6. Locate engine drain plug. 7. Remove the oil plug. 8. Wait. It will take several minutes for all the oil to drain out of the car. 9. Put back the oil drain plug.
B. Adding New Oil
1. Add new oil to the car at the fill hole. 2. Check oil levels by pulling out the dipstick. 3. Put back the oil fill cap. 4. Close the hood. 5. Look under the car to make sure nothing is leaking. 6. Start the engine.
