Norwegians’ traditional clothing
Bunad is a Norwegians traditional outfit.
Bunad is an outfit for both men and women. It has rich textures, colorful patterns and
embroidery.
Traditionally, Bunad represent your family and where you came from, so you supposed to
wear the ones that represent where you or your family originates from. That is why there
were more than 400 varieties of them.
Norwegians’ traditional dance
Halling is a type of Norwegian’s traditional dance.
Although sometimes can also be find in Sweden.
Halling is usually performed by young men at parties, and
weddings.
Norwegians‘ sport
1. Nordic combined is an winter sport which people compete in
cross country skiing and ski jumping. .
2. They also have speed skating which is skating on ice with a
fast speed, the race can be short or as long as a marathon.
3. Telemark skiing is a skiing technique that combines elements
of Alpine and Nordic skiing.
