A Prayer to My God

Dear Father in Heaven,

Thanked you for this wonderful day that you have shared with me and my family.

Thanked you also for all the bountiful blessing that you have showered upon me, and for the gift
of life that you have breathed in me.

I know that I always ask so much from you dear Lord and I also know that I can’t live life
without you.

For no man could ever live life with bread alone.

I only ask for your guidance and protection from all the worldly means and harm.

Protect me and my family from deceases, tragedies and bad omens especially my beloved wife.

Help me from my difficulties in life as I carry my responsibilities and obligations every day.

Give me the courage to withstand the wrong doings and cleansed my body and spirit for
purification of my soul.

Nurture my body and spirit so that I can serve you fully at my best.

And forgive me oh Lord from all my demerits for I ‘am just only a man and may be tempted.

These all I asked from the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Glory be to the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, Amen!
