Hello my name is Marcela Cardona and today my classmates and I will talk about

some traditional foods that are eaten almost daily in Japan.

(Ricardo)Ramen is a Japanese dish. Although each region of Japan has its own
recipe for ramen, the basic preparation consists of different types of Japanese
noodles served in a soup prepared commonly with meat, miso and soy sauce as
well as different garnishes such as slices of pork, seaweed and chive

(Jessica)Sushi is a dish of Japanese origin based on rice seasoned with rice

vinegar, sugar and salt and combined with other ingredients such as fish, seafood
and vegetables. This dish is one of the most recognized of Japanese cuisine and
one of the most popular internationally.
Although sushi is usually associated with fish and seafood, you can also bring
vegetables or eggs, or even any other companion. In addition, the traditional fresh
products that accompany rice do not always have to be raw.

(Marcela)Onigiri also known as Omusubi is a Japanese dish that consists of a rice

ball stuffed or mixed with other ingredients. It usually has a triangular or oval
shape, and is sometimes wrapped in a small strip of nori seaweed.
There is the possibility of flavoring rice using furikake, which are dehydrated
condiments of diverse origin, which will have to be mixed with the preparation
before making the balls.

(Stephania)Dango is a Japanese traditional dumpling made with mochiko, and

derived from mochi. It is often served with green tea.
The dango is consumed all year round, but the different varieties are traditionally
eaten in specific seasons. Three or four dango are often served on a skewer. An
original variety of Hokkaidō is made with potato flour and cooked with shoyu.
