Regarding: Elizabeth McCartney

It is my sincere pleasure to recommend Elizabeth McCartney for the Eastern Star Scholarship for
2016-2017. Ellie is highly attentive to her class work and is an exceptional student.

Ellie is a student I am closely associated with through having her in my Media Writing course.
She has a winning personality and works well with others during group activities. She may not
know this, but when I give my lectures, her face is the one I see smiling and interested.

The strength of her moral character is in the wide array of community interest that she shows in
her activities outside of her college work. I am impressed with her devotion to children in
helping them with their early development. She strikes me as someone who is very caring. It is
extremely important for children to have Ellie as a role model.

Ellie is a student who stands by her ethics. She is a natural leader and students look up to her
for her ability to meet deadlines and her responsibilities. She has also set goals for herself for
her future work and community life.

Ellie is well deserving of a scholarship to support her as she continues down her path to success
with her educational and professional goals. I highly recommend her for a scholarship.
