To whom it may concern:

Directing FREAKY FRIDAY was a epic challenge for all. I feel we did this task
well. The process was very not as smooth as we had hope. To schedule young
performer during this time of the year can be a challenge. Ever year it gets harder
to plan around all the things that happen this time of year. I started this time slot
with Musical Directing “Hansel and Gretel “ and then directing “Camp Rock”,
“Shrek” School of Rock” and last years “Heathers” and all except CAMP ROCK
required afternoon and evening rrehearsals the last two weeks. Not that THAT is a
bad thing but I imagine most directors are not free afternoons and evenings. Just
something to think about next year. Perhaps someone will handle that much better
than me.

I thank my amazing producer Evelyn Kaelin on a job well done. For the part of
costumes we had a mother from the cast step up, Mrs Isbell and she organized
with precision and an iron fist. The prop were well handled (no pun intneded) by
Mrs. Baldwin, with a grand eye and not one thing left to find. Set was flourished
by Will Kaelin, who really stepped up to the plate. It was nice that the set before
really worked out for the structure of our set and is going to be used as the
structure for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. The lighting is a challenge here.
We could really use someone to train and work a lighting scheme for the theater in
the future. I do thank Heather Olin who assisted by Linda Kingry and Will Kaelin
for making lights appear on the stage.

I give Kudos the Stefanie Case Deaton, she had very clear instructions of what she
wanted. She kept organized rehearsals and was a joy to work with as always. . I
was pleased at how well our collaboration of music and scene work meshed
seamlessly.
I would like to say, I have enjoyed my time directing here, I am going to take some
well deserve time off after CHITTY and discover other avenues and things I might
want to be when I grow up. I hold some very fond memories from here and there
are shows that have left a lasting imprint on me. I wish the theatre the best. It is
not just a building at all to me, I started with SUGAR CREEK PLAYERS in 1978.
I watch group go from the luxury of BALL THEATRE to a tent in the middle of
Lew Wallace Study….and did telethons to raise money to open this theater we call
the Vanity. Long live and prosper ….someone said that.
