There are some criteria that must be upheld for participation of SPE Student Chapters for the

Championship. Depending on which method the region chooses to use to select teams, some of these
criteria may not be important for the regional level selection process. Note however that teams who
do not meet the criteria below, will not be able to participate in the Championship. In this case the
region may be required to select an alternative team if time permits.
