Failing the client is not an option, the first thing I would do, would be calling the backup

interpreter Jimena Gonzalez and tell her to come as fast as she can, then as I know that
she lives 45 minutes away from the assignment location, I would immediately call an
interpreting company that works close to the law office, in this case specifically I would
call Nightingale Interpreting Services, they are open every day, 24 hours a day, and the
company is 12 minutes away by car from the assignment location, perhaps they don’t
have someone that can stay a long time because it is a very short notice service, but
maybe they do have somebody to stay for at least 20 to 30 minutes while Jimena gets
there. In case that Nightingale Interpreting Services doesn’t have an interpreter in such a
short notice I would call Prime translation and an interpretation service, which is another
company that is close by and has the languages we require, as a last resort I would
present a skype call with an interpreter for the 15 minutes that Jimena would take to the
location.

After I have certain information about who is going, I would follow the protocol to notify
the client the exact information about the interpreter and how we would proceed if a
change is necessary.

I believe that the main purpose is to be reliable and keep our word with the client, always
giving 100% no matter if there are complications or if it is a big or a small task.
