THE CHERRY ORCHARD

Theatre L’Homme Dieu is gearing up for its first ever Artist Residency. Some of the Twin Cities best
performers will launch a 5-month rehearsal of Anton Chekhov’s THE CHERRY ORCHARD from right here
under our roof and you’re invited to be part of the process ! The fully staged production will be
performed in St. Paul the first 2 weeks of December, but it all starts here.

Join us for a truly unique experience by attending any of the daily rehearsals between August 11 – 13.
Get a sampling of this work-in-progress on Wednesday, August 13 at 6:30pm during an intimate staged
reading, performed script-in-hand. Act I will be performed in the Lodge, while Act II will move outside
under the canopy of the trees. Guests are invited to bring a picnic and their own seating to enjoy the
second half of performance. Beer/Wine/Soda will be sold onsite.

Thursday, August 14th will feature a Lunchtime Masterclass, where everyone is welcome to sit down
with the actors and director to discuss the business of theatre, acting, Chekhov, and anything else! The
Lunchtime Masterclass will be held in the Lodge from 12pm – 1pm, so bring a lunch and join us for a
lively conversation.

Rehearsal schedules will be posted daily on our website (www.tlhd.org), as well as on Facebook and
Twitter.

The cost of the Lunchtime Masterclass, daily rehearsals, and staged reading are free, although donations
will be accepted to offset costs associated with this unique project.

Reservations for the staged reading are recommended as space is limited. Contact the Box Office during
regular business hours to reserve your spot at 320.846.3150

We hope to have you with us as we begin a great artistic journey!
