ROLE: PLANT MANAGER

Job summary

We are looking to hire a dynamic Plant Manager to take on the responsibility of overseeing
the operations of our plant in Ludhiana. As a successful candidate you will be accountable
for all aspects of plant performance, ensuring that the unit’s objectives are attained
balancing levers like cost, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day manufacturing operations

• Maintain or exceed efficiency levels by monitoring and analysing production reports
• Ensure workplace safety
• Regularly audit and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain all administrative records as stipulated by compliance bodies
• Constantly monitor costs to achieve / exceed budget goals
• Manage people morale and productivity by ensuring smooth operations and pre-
empting and resolving any kind of IR issue

Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.

• 15+ years of manufacturing experience of which 5+ years heading a production unit
• Hands on approach in managing manufacturing operations of the plant with passion
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, people management and a bird’s eye
view of financial management of a manufacturing unit
