some noise has become necessary to get the attention from authorities. Irom Sharmila stayed hungry
for 15 years in Manipur with out making any violence; with no deserving response! How many Adivasis
sat outside outside the Assembly. No one cares.

I am not sure, who are the readers making comments here.  My residence is near this collage and i
knew so many students there.  Basically it is a well disciplined collage, wherein they strictly not
allowed student politics, ragging etc. and always giving a peaceful atmosphere to the neighbours like

us.   I don't know what is the reason behind the recent incident and feeling so sorry for the irreparable
loss of  a life and his family members sorrows.  

Is damaging collage property is a solution to this ?  Is the broken glasses and furniture brings any
justice to the victim ?

Is anyone think about the future of the students who are undergoing studies there..?

I am sure now readers are going to criticize me for this comment.  But it is time for us rethink and opt
for other methods of protest than damaging property.

justice in destroying the college property. If the college authority is wrong, the culprit should

the problem is now every body is happy damaging the college.One thing is sure,once all these things
calm down the college authorities will collect money of all these damages from students in the form of
fine.At that time there will be no unions or media to support the students

Harry pls check the history of issues raised from this college.. Nothing
came in front of media itself. Now also after this issue it came out..
That teacher was not even ready to take him to hospital eventhough he
is staying in that hostel.. For sure this wont bring any legal steps
against that college or teacher... So atleast the students should do...

the jury and judge, take law in hand and set score by ourselves, do
you think you and me can live in this country ? For all that matter, can
any of these agitators confirm the real reason for his suicide ? If so,
the culprit could be brought to justice. Now what students did is
agitated on assumption. Sad to see people among us supporting such
crime. Wish if we could have expressed such sentiments towards
senior boys who cruelly ragged junior polytechnic students recently.

But coming to real life situation, there won't be any real remedies for
these types of issues. Legally as a suicide, it will be closed. Maximum
we can allege abetment for Suicide. Even that is very difficult to stand
given the situation. As you suggested, the students can make a very
peaceful candle light demonstration, may stage a march in the Town
with his photos and all. Even the College Authorities may also join.
The fun will be over by that. But financial loss due to the mischief will
be there in the memory of the College Management. It will come to
their memory, the next time they squeeze any student. 

One more thing, this should give rise to student politics in all colleges
including Private Colleges. The parties should be actively involved in
the students welfare also.
