WHITE SAUCE PASTA

Ingredients:

Pasta- 1 cup

Butter- 2 Tablespoons

Plain Flour- 1 ½ Tablespoons

Milk- 500ml

Cheese- 3 slices

Mushrooms- 4-5

Bell peppers

Parsley

1. In a saucepan, melt the Butter.


2. Stir in the flour & cook for couple of minutes.
3. Take the pan off the heat & stir in the milk to get a
smooth sauce. Back on the heat and, stirring all the time,
bring to the boil. A small whisk makes it easier to stir!
4. Add in your cheese slices after 3-4 minutes.
5. Simmer gently for another 5-6 minutes.
6. Add salt & pepper. TIP: Add white pepper to maintain the
colour of the sauce.
7. In a pan add a tablespoon of oil.
8. Add the chopped mushrooms & Bell peppers.
9. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add a pinch of salt.
10. Meanwhile, in large saucepan with boiling water add in
your Pasta & cook until al Dante.
11. Mix the mushrooms & bell peppers in the white sauce
and give it a mix.
12. Add in the chopped parsley & pasta.
13. Stir; coat the pasta & the veggies in the sauce.
14. Serve with some fresh parsley on top.
