1. To demonstrate how the CCTV systems operate

2. To identify and examine the CCTV systems available in the specific zone within the
University college.
Equipment
1. Speed done camera

2. IR camera

3. Day/night camera

4. Dome camera

5. DVR with hard disc

6. LCD monitor
 7. Keyboard for speed dome camera

8. Aluminum Frame

Activate DVR unit

On the DVR unit press on the ‘menu button’, select ‘login, logout’, press
the enter button and select login. Press esc.

Speed Dome operation

Changing the camera focusing area
 Jog around with the joystick or the keyboard

 Take note of the coordinate of the camera (which help to identify viewing zone of the
camera).
Zoom in/out
 Twisting the joystick clockwise and counter clockwise or you may press on the “tele or
Far”.

Steps
1. Press the –or+ button and you will be able to see all the view in the monitor window

2. Place an object in the aluminum frame

3. Adjust the speed dome with the keyboard controller to focus the display object.

4. Observe the quality of each of the camera
