MNA visits Nishtar Road

MNA Aftab Siddiqi recently toured Nishtar road
to see progress of development work and
showed his discontent on the slow pace of
work. The project briefing was given by chief
engineer Shakoor Pathan.
MNA Aftab Siddiqi inspected the development
work being carried out under the aegis of the
federal government. MNA got a briefing from
Engineer Shakoor Pathan, project consultant
Tanvir Mirza and construction company rep
Imtiaz. The MNA was accompanied by PTI
Labour wing's Tauqeer Ahmed.
Aftab Siddiqi resented delay and quality of work and said that lack of coordination between KMC, water board and other departments is adversely
affecting the development work. He urged all to speed up the work and remove all the defects as pointed out by him and complete the project without
any further delay so that the community can have a sigh of relief.
He also met the representatives from the business community and residents of the area and ordered that their complaints be addressed immediately.

Governor Sindh inaugurates

Clean & Green Karachi campaign
The campaign started from the Governor's House
where honourable Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail
planted trees to start the campaign. The ceremony
was attended by all the members of clean and green
along with MPA Shahzad Qureshi.
The clean and green Karachi team led by Farah
Rahman has planted thousands of trees as part of
the campaign. Most noteworthy being the replantation
of trees near dolmen mall which were earlier cut by
wood mafia.
The dolmen trees were planted by Aftab Siddiqi, MNA
with full participation of MPAs, PTI workers and clean
and green team members. The trees planted are
being watered regularly from individual contribution
of members.

Healthcare Initiative - ICWS Team

Insaf Community Welfare Society in collaboration with iXpert ,iStoc and
CBC have arranged a Medical/ Diagnostic Camp at CBC Elaj.
His Excellency, the Governor of Sind Imran Ismail inaugurated the camp
and graced the occasion.
As we all know that access to healthcare is a challenge from so many
perspectives and in addition to the physical and logistical challenges,
the time it takes to get results and the cost are two extreme factors.
ICWS health team led by Dr Samiya recently organized a mobile
diagnostics in collaboration with Integration Xperts and iSTOC .
project conducted blood screenings for infectious diseases: Malaria,
Dengue, Chikungunya, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. The primary
objective was to identify, treat and rehabilitate people affected with
infectious diseases quickly and effectively.

Activities in PS-109
A medical camp was arranged by Mansoori
Beradari in PS 109 on their invitation and the
organizers were pleased with the activity carried
out in PS 109.
The R.O plant near SIUT was also visited to
ensure that it is running effectively. This was
followed by registration drive of community
members which reached 270 including non-
Muslims. ICWS membership cards were issued
and all
members
started to
use them.
The team
spoke to
few
recipients
about the
service they
received and
they all
acknowledged
the benefits.
