Gamry Instruments Celebrates 30 Years Designing and Building Precision

Electrochemical Instrumentation
Gamry Instruments Announces its 30th Anniversary as a Market Leader in Electrochemical Instrumentation

Philadelphia, PA, July 8, 2019 – Gamry Instruments was founded in 1989 designing and
building precision electrochemical instrumentation and accessories. From their start they created
instruments with uncommon value and performance. Their ground-breaking design made
computer-controlled potentiostats more available than ever and their software was the first to be
available on Microsoft® Windows®. This allowed unprecedented customization of
electrochemical experiments using EXPLAINTM, Gamry’s own experimental control language.

According to Max Yaffe, Vice President and Co-Founder of Gamry Instruments, “We started our
company with a simple goal and that was we wanted every user to be satisfied with their Gamry
Instrument”. Max continued by saying “Solving the needs of our customers comes first and
foremost at Gamry. By stressing innovation, performance, and reliability, we ensure our
instruments meet our customer’s needs both today and in the future.”

Gamry’s confidence in their instruments allows them to offer one of the strongest warranties in
the industry. It is also the people at Gamry that make the difference. Call, email, or simply visit
them at a show and you will find a highly educated support staff and electrochemists that are
available to discuss your applications, assist you with data analysis, or just offer advice on how
to make the most of your Gamry instrument.

In addition to manufacturing potentiostats, Gamry is a full line supplier of electrochemical cells

and accessories that offer versatility and value using their own in-house design team.

Gamry’s world headquarters is based outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. They

currently have distributors and representatives in more than 50 countries as well as an office in
Shanghai, Gamry Instruments Consulting Co., Ltd.
