These are some of the ways to take care of our respiratory system. These include
avoiding second-hand smoke, not using cigarette, drinking enough water, taking enough
rest, exercising regularly, eating a balanced diet, avoiding air pollution, and playing sports
that could strengthen our respiratory system such as basketball. The respiratory system
provides oxygen to the body's cells while removing carbon dioxide which is a waste
product that can be lethal if allowed to accumulate. Getting enough exercise makes your
lungs stronger and better at giving your body the oxygen it needs. Simple ways like these
makes us healthier, allowing us to live longer and to live life to the fullest.
