He is having over 16 years of experience in Entrepreneurship and small business development while working as Project coordinator with Himachal Productivity Council a state level organisation under the umbrella of National Productivity Council during the period 1987 to 2003. He was instrumental in motivating unemployed youth for self employment, training them in small business development and facilitating them to start their own business ventures and also designed and conducted special skill training for ITI passed candidates in trades such as Electrician, Fitters, Plumbers, Turners, Tool and Die Making. After classroom trainings, the candidates were deployed with various industrial units in Parwanoo, Baddi, Barotiwala, Nalagarh, Kala Amb etc. and after successful training , all the 35 candidates were issued offer letters by the industrial units for job placement. Mr. Chauhan got an opportunity to present a paper in an international seminar (Improving Productivity in training Institutions) organized by the Asian Productivity Organization, Tokyo at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia in November 1995 Mr. Chauhan motivated his wife Mrs Susheela Chauhan to venture into I.T. sector by starting a internet cafe known as Saraswati Dot Com way back in year 2000 at Shimla which was first private interet cafe in Shimla at that time. From year 2003 Mr. Chauhan left job and joined his wife's venture which is now grown to a Private Limited Company in namé and Style of Saraswati Dot Com Private Limited with an employee strength of 875 as on 31-05-2019. Under the. leadership of Mr. Chauhan, the company has earned a good name in software development, Website Design and Development, Data Digitization, Training, Manpower outsourcing services etc.
