Setting: on the field

Plot:
It is about a man who married a woman who was living with her
father on a house on Zapote Street. The couple spent their first months
in that house. The man then realized why his wife was always worried.
His father-in-law was a policeman. He was very strict with his house
rules. The man couldn't take it so he left the house. One day, his wife
called him to pick her up from that house. He successfully escaped his
wife from her father. But they returned to that house because his father-
in-law requested to see her daughter again. Unfortunately, the couple
were murdered inside that house by their own "father". Their father then
committed suicide after killing his son-in law and his very own daughter.

Conflict: The Father is very strict on his house rules no one can
be against him.

Theme: love is not simple

Values: Don’t be too strict. 

Title: Wedding Dance
Character: Lumnay - a woman who was left by her husband
because he had to marry another woman/ Developing
Awiyao- the husband of Lumnay
Madulimay - Awiyao’s new wife

Setting: in the mountains somewhere in the Philippines

Plot: a) Introduction
The story opens with Awiyao entering his and Lumnay’s house.

b) Rising Action
Things start to heat up when Lumnay says she does not want any
other man.

c) Climax
There is more intensity when Awiyao says he does not want any
other woman.

d) Falling action
But they both have to follow their tribe’s tradition.

e) Denouement
Awiyao has to go back to the wedding dance.

Conflict: The conflict here is Man vs. Society. The lead


characters have to follow their tribe’s custom

Theme: True love never dies

Values: Fight for your love no matter what.
