Warburton population is about 700.

1 store that is open Monday to Friday from 9.30 - 12.30. Reopens again at 2.30 and closes at
4.30pm. Wednesday it only opens for half a day. Saturdays from 9.00 - 12. Sundays closed.
There is a roadhouse that is open Monday to Friday until 5pm. Saturday and Sunday until
3pm.
The community have houses and no gardens or lawns just red dirt. No entertainment. After
school there are activities for the students. And on Saturday but not Monday or Tuesday.
There is softball and football competitions on weekends and sometimes travel to other
communities to compete. No transport except people have vehicles that are run down.
Some cars don't have number plates on them and have no windows in them. There is a clinic
in town where there are nurses and doctors. Royal flying Doctor plane comes in and out as
needed for patients. There is no Post Office or post people to deliver the mail. The mail
plane comes a couple of times a week from Kalgoorlie and Alice Springs.
One police station in town with four police officers. No fire brigades. Only a few local people
have jobs with Health, Shires Offices. The town has its own generator for power and when
the power goes off a designated person has to go and start the generator up again.
This designated person also meets the small planes when they land and refuels them again
for their onward journey.
