测量 Measurement

1. 长度 Length : 两点之间的距离。（the distance between two points）

a. 长度的单位 Standard unit : 毫米 milimetre (mm),
厘米 centimetre (cm), 米 metre (m), 公里 kilometer (km)
b. 标准测量工具 （standard measuring tools）: 尺 （ruler）， 卷尺
(measuring tape)
c. 非标准测量工具 （non-standard measuring tools）:
i. 身体的部位 (human body)：寻（span）, 虎口 （cubit）, 腕
尺 （arm span）, 脚掌 （foot）
ii. 非标准测量物体 （objects with equal size/ length）: 回形针
（paper clip）, 粉笔 (chalk), 吸管（straw）, 铅笔 （pencil）

2. 面积 Area : 物体表面的大小 （the size of surface）

a. 面积的单位 （unit for area）:平方毫米 square milimetre (mm²),
平方厘米 square centimetre (cm²),
平方米 square metre (m²), 平方公里 square kilometre (km²)
b. 面积的公式 Formula : 长 x 宽 length x width

3. 体积 volume : 物体占据空间的大小 （the amount of space that is

occupied）
a. 体积的单位 (standard unit) : 立方毫米 cubic milimetre (mm³), 立
方厘米 cubic centimetre (cm³), 立方米 cubic metre (m³)
b. 体积的公式 formula: 长 x 宽 x 高 （length x width x height）
c. 测量液体的工具 （measuring liquid）: 烧杯 （beaker）,
锥形瓶 （conical flask）, 量筒 （measuring cylinder）,
量杯 (measuring container)
