The New Mendrez

• We started with the New Look – a great transformation that has updated the brand and
made it relevant to the times.

• The Rebranding and Transformation has opened a new market for us with the millenials.

• The New Look has resulted in higher sales. It has created excitement among the
customers to check the brand again.

• The spaced-out display of merchandise together with the look of the store has given us
a more upscale branding. This has allowed us to veer away from constant markdowns
and for customers to respect and buy our merchandise at regular prices. We only do our
markdowns now twice a year, during year-end sale and mid-year sale.

The Branding in Social Media
• Mendrez has also been active in social media with postings of the
latest merchandise line up.
• Product shots are paired with outfits to show how the merchandise
can be worn.
• Photos of fashion inspirations are posted together with the
merchandise.
• Together with the new look of the store, the branding in social media
allowed us to sell merchandise that’s a bit more upscale and fashion
forward.
Moving Forward…
• We plan to add to our number of stores in the provinces where we
have seen the greatest growth.
• We plan to continue updating our stores, merchandise, branding
through social media.
• We plan to include fashion vlogs later on for a more diverse exposure
to social media.
• We plan to use influencers later on to gain more exposure in social
media.
