Learn the secret of the conviction of faith. In life, faith is everything.

Faith is
not another name for blind devotion. To ensure that everything around us is
auspicious, we have to become deserving. Only by following the path of
truth, love and karma, can we become worthy of divine grace. Even after
maintaining faith, some people may have complaints and objections
regarding divine will.
Questions like ‘Why did this happen to me’ start surfacing. This is because,
having left everything to faith and their belief in God, they start living
according to their self-chosen path. Their sense of ‘doership’ and a conviction
that God has to keep everything ‘in or- der’ for their good, because of their
faith in Him, becomes prominent in their mind.
We need to have the wisdom to realise that we have to be open and
deserving of God’s grace when it descends. Because of ignorance caused by
falsehood, pride, hypocrisy, selfishness, attachment and ego, the doors of
our heart are closed to Divine Grace. Open the doors of your heart, and see
that not only divine grace, but divinity itself will flow towards you.
If a tiger appears before you in a jungle, will you start chanting a mantra that
is supposed to dispel fear and repel enemies, or alternately, would you tell
the beast to wait, so that you may go to a temple or consult an astrologer
about which planet is to be pleased to overcome the situation? What will you
do?
In such a situation, only three kinds of yoga — union with Divine
Consciousness — can help. First, if there is pure, complete and unconditional
love in your eyes, then, even a ferocious animal might give way to such a
saintly person. There have been such instances related to realised sages,
and these stories are to be found in heard accounts.
Second, if one analyses the situation with dhyana, full awareness, wisdom
and spontaneity and initiates right conduct at the right time, the dynamics of
the situation could be changed to save oneself. This is possible only because
of sadhana, regular practice, the incessant dedication, of a karma yogi
towards karma — right conduct at the right time.
Third and final, there is the force of truth — to face truth with absolute
fearlessness, knowing that the truth of the moment demands you to become
food for an animal, and that it has divine sanction and yet you remain
unaffected by it. Such complete fearlessness will influence
your body language, leading, possibly, to a miracle. This is the power
of satya yoga.
Even if the slightest doubt enters your mind, as follows, that ‘O God, in spite
of having complete faith in you, you are showing me this day, what am I to
do,’ then, faith will not work. So, faith is definitely the ultimate refuge, but it
is only due to the amalgamation of truth, love and karma, that divine grace
descends.
Faith is the pride and beauty of humanity, a source of energy and only
through truth, love and karma, can the human body become the medium of
its descent.
Human life is a precious gift, therefore:
Keep open always,the doors of thy heart,Open all its lockswith the key of
