Installation instructions:

1) Connect a straight fully wired RS-232 cable between the Plena PLN-6TMW timer and
the PC.
2) Put the "For service only"-switch on the rear of the timer to "ON".
3) Create a new folder C:\WeeklyTimerV209 on the PC and copy the files
WeeklyTimerV209.d43, WeeklyTimerV209.txt, Patch.txt and Bsldemo.exe into this
folder.
4) If your RS-232 cable is connected to COM1 of the PC, then create a Windows
shortcut in this folder with the following line:

C:\WeeklyTimerV209\Bsldemo.exe -1 -w -cCOM1 WeeklyTimerV209.txt

Replace COM1 by COM2 if your cable is connected to COM2 instead of COM

5) Start the shortcut to load the firmware. A pop-up will appear; check the box
"Run as Administrator". The upgrade takes about 3-5 minutes. Wait until you see the
message:

Programming completed!
Press <ENTER>...

6) Press <Enter> to finish the upgrade.
