Construction Process

Large panel prefabrication

At side locations, panels shall be first unloaded and stacked or directly lifted by the crane.
The element shall then be installed on the site and supported by temporary jacks. The
cranes shall be released for next lifting once the temporary supports are in place. Shims shall
be use to carefully align the element before grouting. The panels shall be grouted after the
final adjustments are done.

The construction process is in following:

1. At the construction site, workers build a frame for the wall. This Is usually built on
the floor of other building being built. Doors, windows and other openings are
framed in.
2. Reinforcing steel is placed inside finished frame. After that, concrete is pumped into
the wall frame. Finishes can be applied at this stage suck as texture or colour.
3. Waiting period is 7-10 days while the concrete attains sufficient strength for lifting.
After the frame is removed, workers ready the wall for lifting. These types of walls
can weight-up to 100,000 pounds.
4. After rigging is attached, a crane is used to lift the wall carefully and workers use
large braces to steady the wall as it is raised.
5. After the panels are poured and lifted into place, each panel must be temporarily
braced to safety hold it in a vertical position. Once placed in its vertical position, the
wall section is braced. Workers attach the wall to the roof supports and to the
foundation
