Vestas Power Solution operates on a global scale with more than 1,300 employees. The ‘Transport and hanaling team is located at 2 different sites: Aarhus in Denmark and Chennai in india, ‘The Transpor. & Handling department is responsibie for developing and maintaining concepts, processes ‘and tools for Transport, Installation and Maintenance of our wind lurbines. We are involved in new turbine development as well as maintenance and optimization ofthe existing let ‘Transport & Handling Improvements isa part ofthe Transport & Handling department. The team is responsible for development of new business areas like Mull-brand tooling solulions, Inbound transport Solutions and more, Also to build and execute business improvement intatives related to transpor, construction and maintenance value chain, Responsibilities: + Responsible for design and development of tools and equipment for transportation, installation and ‘maintenance of wind turbines, + Work with design improvements, CIM, cost outs etc. + Responsible for creation of technical design documentation such 3D CAD, 2D drawings, technical ‘construction fle, HSE risks assessment, DFMEA, Design verification procedure/report etc, ‘agherance to relevant legislations, + Supporting process development and lead the product development from concept and requirement ‘specification on to final verication of prototype. + Responsible for project execution through SAP/ERPIECM systems, Ensure cross functional collaboration with relevant interface owners throughout the value chain, + Deliver the technical solution within qual, time and cost targa of the project. ‘Qualifications: Bachelor of Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied. + 210 5 years of professional experience in product development and delailed design. + Experience in mechanical design and specification In compliant to the relevant International standards ‘Competencies: + In-depth knowledge in Structural Mechanics is essential + Experience in 3D-Modeling and 2D-
