Project: The Siren and The Blue Prince

Sirens are mythical creatures viewed to be dangerous, feared and avoided.

Siren's history:
In a small kingdom, the crowned King and Queen are having a celebration dedicated for the birth of their
youngest child. Their daughter. Their princess. Choi Ye Jin. A beautiful girl with brilliant red hair she
inherited from her mother.

The feast is about to start but the young princess is nowhere to be seen. Servants were sent all over the palace
grounds to search for the princess. But the queen knew they would not find her daughter in the palace. She
sneaked out to the sea which was not too far from the palace.

There she saw her 4 year old daughter already making her way to the deeper part of the sea. The water already
reached her eyes but she seemed to be in some sort of trance as she continued to walk.

Her mother called for her but she didn't stop. The queen had no choice but to follow and carry her daughter
back to the sand. Ye Jin came back to her senses and asked what were they doing there and she sees the sea.
She fell back to the trance that she was in before. The queen quickly carried her back to the palace.
The feast was successful but the people couldn't help but notice that the King seemed off and the Queen looked
worried.

The Queen (Ji-Hye) and the King (Geun) talked after the feast.
Turns out, Ye Jin carries the curse her great grandmother had as well as some of the citizens of the kingdom.
To have the curse is very rare and is most likely not to happen to anyone.

A young witch that was beheaded years and years and years ago threw a curse and spread it anywhere before
her execution.

"Those unlucky
shall live forever in great misery
creatures once just a fantasy
will now be themselves
half human, half fish
They shall live for eternity
Turning to foam once
Every century
living in the sea
singing a song to lure people in
to bring chaos
to bring fear
to bring danger
a kiss shared with a mortal
will not break the curse easily
they shall follow them
for their hearts once owned
by the vast ocean
now belong
to a mere mortal."
Unfortunately, once a person has been cursed, their whole clan will be as well. There aren't any specific
generations on whom the curse will be passed on but what looks like a burn mark shall appear on a child's birth
if it was cursed.
Ye Jin is one of them.
Years passed, Ye Jin turns 12. Her parents and siblings did everything to keep her away from any body of
water. Though the curse was nothing new to the kingdom as a few people have been affected too, they kept the
princess' condition from the citizens to keep their image.

So one day, after attending her lessons, Ye Jin's friends went to the sea. Not wanting to be left out, Ye Jin
followed.

But the moment she set foot in the water, she went deeper and deeper. Her friends followed her but they
couldn't keep up as she went deeper. They called for help. Her older brother (Hyun Woo) came to rescue her.
Hyun Woo dived deeper and deeper and he sees his sister, unconscious on the sea's floor. He brought her back
to the palace and she wasn’t allowed to leave anymore.
