- Ensure safety and security, and maintaining quality in accordance with the

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am from the country Nepal. i am student of engineering and i want improve my coding skill in matlab
which help me in near future to get the job. I am study in IOE Pulchowk campus, kathmandu Nepal. And
i actually belong from the Remote District Darchula. My all family and other member are stay there. For
Study purpose i shifted to the kathmandu. so all the money that my family send to me are used for my
fooding and lodging and i barely afford any other expenditure. The basics of MATLAB is very essential for
a civil engineer. And i also interest to learn this course but my financial condition is not good as i
mentioned above. i can not afford the this course by purchasing. Also i am full time student and there
are no any other way for income for me. Soi applied for financial aid for fetting free online course on
matlab.

Since im the Civil engineering student, this course help me in upcoming collage projects. By the use of
matlab i am able to solve various problems related to the my field. it also helps me for getting good job
after completing this course. in the civil engineering there are various problem which area really lengthy
and tedious to solve manually. In such cases software like matlab are really helpful for us. And its really
smart way to solve problem effectively and efficiently. Its really helpfull in civil engineering specially in
water supply engineering and structural dynamics, we have lots of complex calculations, higher order
differential equations and equations of higher degrees, there MATLAB can be used very efficiently. Also
it help me various field/ subjects like:-

1. Transportation Engineering: Traffic Engineering is generally done on Excel. But if we can use Matlab
our work become a lot more easier.

2.Geotechnical Engineering: lateral earth pressure, retaining wall programming, westergaard and
boisennesq pressure program, consolidation. Mohr circle is one of the most famous programming.

3. Surveying: Levelling program, Bearing calculation

4. Water resources: computational fluid Dynamics, Hardy cross method, STP design, WTP design. It's a
long list.

5. Structural Engineering: Finite elements analysis. Learning programming of staad Pro, e tabs, can be
done by Matlab.
