Bagasbas Airport (RPUD) Route Qualification

VFR Traffic Corridor Awareness

Gentlemen:

Greetings! With reference to the planned route qualification flight to our Off-Base
Operations in Bagasbas Airport facility, please find below guidelines and
familiarization on VFR Traffic Corridor, Special Traffic Pattern Procedures,
Reporting Points and Joining Altitude and Designated Training Area that will serve
as guide both to Pilot Trainee and Instructor Pilot for standardization.

EXIT/ENTRY Procedure:

VFR Traffic Exit Procedure will be performed in the Left 24/Right 06


Crosswind/Downwind Leg (South Side of the Station) and maintain 700 ft until
cleared of traffic pattern to avoid traffic (joining traffic pattern) at 1,500 ft over
head the station, before continuing climb to 1,500 ft and initial reporting points;
Mercedes for South East Corridor, Talisay for North west Corridor and Daet (pin
not the town proper) for South west Corridor. Be sure to keep the waypoints to
your left. Normal altitude will be 1,500ft AGL.

Same reporting points will be used for VFR Traffic Entry Procedure to Station at
minimum altitude of 1,500 ft, and followed by AIA SOP Entry to Traffic Pattern
Procedure.

Designated Training Area:


Designated Training Areas are Vinzons (North West 5.6NM), Basud (South 4.2NM)
,Quinapaguian and Apuao Grande Islands (South East 6.3NM and 6.4NM
respectively).

All are enjoin to observe our traffic pattern procedure and standard speed
Please refer to the numbers below:

80 – 85 KIAS at Downwind Leg (1.7 of VSI)


75 – 80 KIAS abeam touchdown point upon first extension of Flaps
70 – 75 KIAS at Base Leg after second extension of Flaps
65 – 70 KIAS at Final leg when landing is ascertain
