Personal Protective equipment (PPE)

Ensuring the workplace health and safety is important matter that strongly
taken in consideration by all governmental and private sectors.

 Personal Protective equipment (PPE) are designed to protect the user


against health or safety hazards at working environment in order to
avoid or reduce any immediate injuries or /and long term effects.

 There are diffeent types and shapes of PPE which designed to protect
different parts of the body from different hazards. PPE selection depends
on the working environment and job nature, it includes but not limited
to:
1. Body protection.
2. Hand and Arm protection.
3. Head protection.
4. Hearing protection.
5. Fall Protection
6. Breathing protection.
7. Eye protection.
8. Foot protection.
9. Political hazards protection.
10. Chemical hazards protection.
11. Nuclear hazards protection.
12. Extreme Temperatures protection.

practical section

The students will get practical training in PPE types, usage , storage and
maintenance. The Personal protective equipment shall be available at this
section in order to have practical traning.
