TSUNAMI HAZARDS FOR HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Personnel of the Curriculum Implementation Division Personnel of the School Governance and Operations Division Public Schools District Supervisor/Districts in Charge ‘School Heads of Public Secondary Schools This Division ._ The Philippines is one of the most countries at risk with natural hazards such as, but not limited to typhoons, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis. ‘As such, the Office, in cooperation with DOST-PHIVOLCS, will conduct Training on Communicating Volcano, Earthquake and Tsunami Hazards for High School Teachers on May 28-30, 2018 at Mabe’s Savory Place, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. ‘The training aims to train selected teacher representatives on basic information about the science of volcano, earthquake, tsunami and its hazards, preparedness and how to ‘communicate this information to their students. ‘There shall be no registration. Hotel accommodation and meals are free. Travel and transportation expenses of the participants are charged against school local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. Attached in this document is the program of activity and the travel authority of the participants.
