Dear Administrator,

It is a pleasure to have an opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for Nicole Bella. I

have had the opportunity to work with Ms. Bella for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years at
American Indian Public High School. As a fellow social science colleague, we have worked
together within the Social Science department to address the needs of our student population.

Ms. Bella’s flexibility in the classroom has always astounded me. She started the school year
teaching Advanced Placement World History, and it took almost a week after the start of the
year for her text books to arrive. I was impressed with how Ms. Bella was able to adapt to the
situation and be able to keep her classes on an already tight pacing schedule.

Since my classroom is right next to Ms. Bella’s, I have a daily opportunity to witness how she
interacts and supports her students. I can notice that she takes the time to establish positive
and productive relationships with her students. Through collaboration with Ms. Bella, I also
witnessed her commitment to providing her students with a challenging curriculum while
providing the scaffolding and support to help her students reach the standards.

It has been a pleasure working with Ms. Bella this school year. She has continued to impress
me as a strong educator with the best interests of her students in mind, and a willingness to
commit the time to ensuring their success. I believe she would make an exceptional addition to
