• Reamer 1. Disassembly
• Drill Jig Remove OE valve lineup. Save OE retainer, washer spring seat, springs and spring seat.

NOTE: Tool kit 56947-TL is no longer in 2. Reaming

production but may still be available from Ream pressure regulator bore (for reaming instructions/reamer care, please visit
distributor inventory. www.sonnax.com). Sonnax reaming tool kit 56947-TL is required for this operation.

3. Installation & Assembly

a. Thoroughly clean valve bore and body of all debris.
b. Install OE spring seat onto stem of Sonnax pressure regulator valve as shown.
c. Install Sonnax pressure regulator/OE spring seat assembly into bore.
d. Install correct springs:
• If working on a One-Solenoid valve body,
Reinstall OE Springs. Valve Body
SPRING

SELECTION • If working on a Two-Solenoid valve body,
Install Sonnax Springs.
e. Install OE spring seat washer onto Sonnax boost
assembly as shown.
f. Install Sonnax boost assembly and secure with
OE retainer.

4. Final Testing 30
VACUUM
TEST
0

Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated holds the 18"-Hg

recommended minimum 18 in-Hg.
