DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee the day to day operation of the Treasury Department


2. Act as the co-signatory of the General Manager in all checks, disbursement vouchers (originating
from the Treasury Department) and applicable financial transactions of the Agency
3. Ensure accurate and appropriate disbursement and liquidation of special cash advances
4. Review and approve the release of cash/checks for duly approved and audited voucher/payrolls
5. Ensure coordination with payees and/or departments concerned to ensure that all payables are
paid as they become due
6. Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of reports that are necessary to carry
out the function of the Treasury Department
7. Certify correctness of prepared statements and other required reports from the Department
8. Give periodic update and/or advise on the financial position and investments of the Agency and
supervise and/or carry out the approved financial transactions of the Office
9. Ensure the establishment of effective internal control measures in handling and recording cash
collections and deposits
