Looking Ahead- Graduation and 4 Year Plan
Graduation Plan:

Yearly Goals
Yearly goals are your long-term goals that will have this the next few years.

Yearly Plan
Year 1
Personal Goal This year we have been in the process of
moving, my personal goal is to find the right
home and get our family settled into the
neighborhood, schools, and ward.
Professional Goal I have wanted to start an in-home preschool.
This goal is to set up the curriculum, register
students, and organize the preschool at my
house.
Educational Goal Education has been a slow process, since I
am a stay at home mom I usually take 3 to 4
credits each semester. I will continue to take
one or two classes in the winter, spring, fall,
and summer semesters to move toward my
goals of graduation in 2023.
Year 2
Personal Goal My personal goal this year will be to attend
the temple weekly. If we are able to buy a
home in the area we want we will be pretty
close to the temple, I will ask my husband to
watch the kids once a week so I can go to the
temple.
Professional Goal This year I will be starting the preschool. I will
have my home inspected and have the
proper licensing complete to run the school.
Educational Goal I will press forward as I have in the past
completing the classes needed to graduate
taking classes all 4 semesters.
Year 3
Personal Goal This year I am going to read the Book of
Mormon from beginning to end and look for
all the references of Christ that I can find.
Professional Goal I my youngest child will be starting
Kindergarten this year so my goal will be to
add a second preschool class while he is
gone to school.
Educational Goal Same as before, working year-round,
maintaining grades, and pressing forward to
graduate.
Year 4
Personal Goal This year I will pray to invite 5 people to
church and give them each a Book of
Mormon. I will try to be a better missionary.
Professional Goal I will hopefully have a full-blown preschool
and with my children being over the age of 6 I
should be able to add a summer program for
the month of June.
Educational Goal This year I will have all my kids in all day
school. I should be able to add an extra class
each semester taking 6 to 9 credits each
semester.
Wrap-up details:
For personal goals I will take 20 minutes each day to reflect on that year’s goal. I will plan for the
week on which days I can work on the goal and work out a schedule with my family to help me
reach the goal.
For my professional goals I will take time to write lesson plans once a week for the first year,
then in January I will start recruiting students, and finding supplies I will need for the school.
That way when the fall comes I will be ready to teach the first class of preschool students.
For my educational goals, I will continue with the schedule I have currently set to maintain good
grades, complete assignments, and give attention to my family. I have always found it easiest to
work on schoolwork at night while my children are in bed.
