Topic: childhood memory

Hi,

I would like to share my childhood memories. My childhood memories are feelings of love,
affection, and happiness. I was born in a town named Machilipatnam in Krishna district where
my entire childhood was passed. My father is a school teacher. My mother is a very simple house
wife. We are joint family which includes grand parents, brothers, sisters and cousins. We are
lived in a big home surrounded by a garden decorated with different type’s plants and trees.

I remember New Year celebrations were on 31st of December 2000 with my family, is the most
memorable event in my childhood. A day before the New Year, all of my family members went
to buy new clothes, sweets, crackers and also ordered cakes. On 31st Dec evening my brother,
sister and my family friends played a cricket match. We are all enjoyed listening to songs, and
did dance in garden. We had a lot of fun, my mother and aunt had prepared some special food
items and snacks for dinner. When it is almost past 10 pm in night, we were watching live shows
in TV to the celebration that takes place across the world. In the midnight, our entire family went
out and fired crackers in front of our house. We wished each other and enjoyed in welcoming the
New Year. Finally I was switched on candles and cut the cake and distributed pieces of cake to
all people who were present.
