Immobilize Sinibaldi’s “Casa de los Sueños”

A court immobilized eight properties related to the fugitive ex-minister of


Communication, Alejandro Sinibaldi, according to the Common Department who
delivered them to the National Secretariat of Goods Management in Ownership
Extinction for its management.
Two of the properties are located in zona 10, Guatemala City, known as “Casa
Verde”. Another one is located in jurisdiction of Santa Catarina Pinula known as
“Casa Bonita”, and another one is in zona 8, Mixco, that was used as home
campaign of Partido Patriota.
Another of the luxurious houses is located in Puerto San José, in Escuintla known
as “Casa de los Sueños” and which served as a family rest center for those close to
Sinibaldi, according to the Common Department.
In addition, a warehouse, a parking lot and a common area linked to Sinibaldi were
immobilized in a capital sector of zona 5.
According to the authorities’ investigations, the properties are under the name of
third parties, among them commercial companies known as offshores in Panama.
They were acquired by Sinibaldi in an illegal way.
