The following sequences are based on music found in the solo piano improvisations of
Clare Fischer on these two recordings:

I feel that this music is best understood by seeing the path taken by the
individual voices inside each chord, and how they resolve to a resolution. For this reason,
I have tried to include some indication of the voice leading in the examples studied.
