CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT FORMS OF TENDER, AGREEMENT AND BOND FOR USS IN CONNECTION WITH WORKS OF CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION Fifth Edition (Sune 1973) ‘These documents, commonly known as “the ICE Conditions of Contract”, were first issued in December 1945, having been agreed by the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors. ‘The Second, Third and Fourth Editions (approved by the Institution and the Federation and also by the Association of Consulting Engincers) were issued, respectively, in January 1950, March 1951 and January 1955. This Fifth Edition was similarly issued in June 1973. Additions to the Fourth Edition comprised the clauses on Metrication (January 1969), Tax Fluctuations anuary 1970) and Value Added Tax (1 September 1971) evised 23 March 1973).
