Factorial Notation is used

 Number Theory
 Statistics
 Permutation( Arrangement of Things)
 Combinations
 Probability distribution
 Binomial Theorem is based on factorial

Where counting and arrangement is involved we use factorial notation

Practical Example:
If u want to find that how many other words can be formed like PLANE then
𝟓! = 𝟓 × 𝟒 × 𝟑 × 𝟐 × 𝟏 = 𝟏𝟐𝟎
Including the word plane
So we can form 119 other words alike plane that are different
