NOTICE

Summer Internship Project

Semester – III

All students are hereby instructed to take cognizance of the following guidelines with
regards to submission of their summer internship project.
1. No request for change of guide shall be entertained
2. Reporting to the guides for a minimum of 6 interactions during the completion of
the project is mandatory
3. The guide reserves the discretion to debar student from assessment in case of
a. Non reporting of task assigned
b. Non performance
c. Any form of malpractice in completion of project report
d. Lack of merit in the project
4. Even in case of a live project sponsored by an organization, approval and
monitoring by the project guide is mandatory
5. The project has to deal with a contemporary issue in management related to the
respective area of specialization and should involve primary research
6. The last date for submission of the Summer Internship project is Tuesday, 30th
July, 2019.
7. Students shall not hard bind the final copy of the project for submission till the
guide approves and signs the certificate of submission
8. Each student shall submit one hard bound copy (black cover with golden
embossing) of the project in original.

Guidelines for Summer Internship Project

All students should make note of the following guidelines so as to enable a quality and
timely submission of the Summer Internship project. Adherence to the norms mentioned
below is compulsory and any violation of the same shall not be tolerated.

1. The objective of the project is to ensure that students apply theoretical knowledge
gained in their respective areas of specialization in a live project and further
enhance their skill sets.
2. Every project must preferably include
a. Title of project.
b. Acknowledgements.
c. Executive summary.
d. Page of Content
e. Page of Tables, Charts and Diagrams in the project.
f. Objective and scope of study.
g. Research methodology.
h. Formulation of hypothesis.
i. Statistical analysis of data.
j. Findings of research.
k. Suggestions and strategies.
l. Strengths and limitations of the study.
m. Bibliography.
3. It is highly recommended that students get a live project from a company if
possible, since it would add value to their resume. In case students fail to get a
company-based project, they can in consultation with their respective guides
formulate the project.

4. The students should on a regular basis have the proceedings of the project
evaluated by their respective guides (Even in case of company sponsored
projects). Each student must have a minimum of 6 interactions with their
respective guides. No project shall be accepted / evaluated if it is not regularly
approved by the concerned guide.
5. The entire project will carry a weight-age of 100 marks.
6. Documentation
a. Paper – A4 size Executive Bond
b. Text Font
- Size – 12
- Type – Times New Roman
- Margins – Top & Bottom 1” and Left & Right 1.25”
c. Line Spacing – 1.5
d. Flexibility in font type and size for headers and sub-headers.
e. No. of copies:
- One original copy, hard bound (black) with details (for details refer
last page) embossed on cover page.
- One spiral-bound copy.
7. Last date for submission of Summer Internship project – Tuesday, 30th July,
2019.
8. The project report will not be evaluated if:
a. The above requisites are not fulfilled
b. Any sort of malpractice / manipulation
c. Late submission.
d. Not regularly evaluated and monitored by the guide.
