PREFACE

On the job training in marketing influnces among student’s senses of critical analysis of the real
managerial situations to them are exposed. This gives them an opportunity to apply their
conceptual, theoretical and imaginative skills, knowledges or ideas to real life situations and
evaluate the results thereof.

The concept of summer training which is there in curriculum of Business Management Schools,
serves two important purposes. Firstly, it gives the student the fair amount of insight of the
problem faced by them. Secondly, this type of project helps business management students to get
a first-hand experience of the actual working conditions which otherwise is possible only when
students are doing the job.

As a part of MBA program, students have to pursue a project duly approved by the Faculty of
Concerned area. I had the privilege of undertaking the project on “Improvement of Market
Share in Car Loans vis-à-vis competitors products: Special reference on High Value
Vehicles”.

This report is account of what I learnt and experienced during my training and I have tried to
complete this report with as much perfection as possible.
