Mission
‘At 17 months we started Hippotherapy. We had not told hs other therapists of this, and within
2 weeks they all noticed a huge increase in his stability. His tone was improving foster than
before, he was siting without any additonal suppor, started to babble more than ever before,
his fine motor skills improved, and his gross motor took huge steps! He started to craw! No
‘one thought that he would be able to do this so fast!

To Whom It May Concern:
As the Program Coordinator of LifeStriders Therapeutic Riding Center, it is my pleasure to
write this letter for Christine Stern. Christine has completed 127.75 hours of service between
8/1/19 and 7/23/19, volunteering with LifeStriders; a non-profit therapeutic riding center that
provides equine assisted therapies to adults, seniors, veterans, and children. LifeStriders was
established in 2005, and offers therapeutic services to clients of all ages, cultures, and
status. Our primary function is to provide therapeutic horseback riding for people
with physical, mental, and cognitive challenges.
Asa class volunteer, Christine has provided exemplary service to the organization. She is
dependable and has shown a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients and other
volunteers. Her work, compassion, dedication and passion for helping those in need far
exceeds the expectations that one might have of a volunteer. Volunteering at an organization
like LifeStriders requires individuals that are able to attend to all aspects of our program to
include other volunteers, clients, instructors, and parents. Christine is very strong in these
areas and is very willing to assist in any capacity. She has worked with numerous children with
conditions such as Autism, learning disabilities, auditory processing delays, Cerebral Palsy, as,
well as numerous physical challenges. She has the ability to quickly adapt her facilitation to
provide the best outcome that she can for the clients she works with.
(On behalf of the children and families that we work with, we are pleased to have Christine
volunteering with us.
Sincerely,
Qo.
