    Note: In the original text of this Gospel, kept in the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris (mss nr 132,
    http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b10720220s 5-05-2018), there is NO Tetragram in 2:15 (is ). However in
    Mt-Jean du Tillet published by Adolf Herbst (1879) the tetragram YHWH appears 1 time (2:15), and in the rest
    of places God’s name appears as abbreviant . It is worth adding that the combination of triple Yod as the
    equivalent of a Tetragram appears in fragments of the Hebrew text Ben Syrach found in the genizah in Cairo.
