5th Grade Supply List

• Yellow highlighter
• #2 pencils, regular or mechanical (Mechanical pencils may
be used unless they present a distraction to the student.)
• Loose-leaf paper (wide-ruled)
• Coloring utensils (crayons or colored pencils)
• Expo/dry erase markers (any color except yellow)
• Glue (sticks or liquid)
• Scissors
• Two 1.5 inch, 3-ring binders
• 2 composition books (***Students with Veler and Hood
excluded)
• 2 folders - must have 3 prongs (***Students with Veler
and Hood excluded)

It is very important that your child has the types of folders

and composition books listed. Why?

1. Our supply list is specific to what we need to help your

child stay organized and successful throughout their 5th
grade year.
2. 5th grade teachers collect, organize, and grade student
work in a way that is simple yet specific to the materials
requested on this list.
