This is a general purpose Unit Conversion Utility that automatically converts

between units of measurements. Now with 525 Units in 20 Categories.

You can go to options and turn "Prefix Functions" on/off for the Popup Calculator -
when on (default), this will allow you to enter expressions in a more natural way
like many modern calculators do, rather than the "traditional" approach, which is
still the available for ESBUnitConv. So if you wish to evaluate: Sqrt (4.2) + 6.3

Prefix Functions Off: 4.2 Sqrt + 6.3 =

Prefix Functions On: Sqrt 4.2 + 6.3 =

Where Sqrt is the Square Root Button.

You can also turn Precedence of Operators off for the Popup Calculator, so if you
would prefer 5 + 2 * 3 = 21 rather than 11, then this option is for you.

ESBUnitConv Pro: if you would like a more featured Conversion Utility with more

Notes on ESBUnitConv
====================

1. Most conversions are only accurate to about 4 significant figures. Please take
this into account before reporting "errors".

2. Temperature Conversions do not allow you to go below Absolute Zero.

3. The Screen Size, Position, various options, Popup Calculator Status, and the
last tab your were on are saved between executions.

4. Decimal Point and Thousand's separator should be displayed in what ever

character the Regional Settings of your MS Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP is setup for. If
you expect to see a ',' for a decimal point but don't then you may still have US
(or something similar) settings.

Notes on ESBUnitConv's Popup Calculator

=======================================

1. 10^x can be calculated using INV and LOG buttons, or by entering 10 and then
using the x^y button.

2. e^x can be calculated using INV and LN buttons, or by pressing the "e" button
and then using the x^y button.

3. x^1/y (i.e. the y-th root of x) can be calculated using INV and x^y buttons.

4. Inverse exist for all the Trigonometric functions by using the INV button than
one of SIN, COS or TAN buttons.
5. The Radian/Degree toggle are saved between executions.

6. Last Error (under info button) displays details about the last error that
occurred. AC clears this.

Known Problems
==============

1. Due to the lack of support for Scientific Notation, ESBUnitConv does sometimes
cause "funny" things to happen when number get too large. Check out ESBUnitConv Pro
if you need to play with bigger (and smaller) numbers.

2. ESBUnitConv may not view correctly when certain "Large Fonts" are used and
certain Themes. Try selecting a different Font and/or Theme. We improved on this
significantly in recent releases.

3. When dealing with a large number of digits and having thousands separators on
can cause the fields to "overflow". Try adjusting Font and/or Font Size till you
find one that you are happy with.
