24 hours without mobile phone

The 6th of February was the international day of no mobile phone. The point? To succeed in living without your
smartphone for 24 hours. 1jour1actu will explain to you how your device that takes a big of our lives and why it is
important to take a pause.

Sometimes, some people spend all of their time on their smartphone and not enough effort talking to the people
you’re with.

The 6th of February, you have maybe seen your parents turn off their mobile phones. Where you may have also
turned off yours for 24 hours. It was on the international day of no mobile phones. The point of this day with phones
come from a French writer, Phil Marso. In 2001, he wrote a crime novel in which the mobile phone had an important
place. Going further, he created a day without phones. He chose the date to be 6th February, Saint Gaston’s day. He
also paid homage to a funny song from 1967, Gaston y a l’téléfon qui son, by Nino Ferrer.
