COMMITTEE REPORTS

009 - 2019 - COR of the committee on rules as a result of the
committee hearing conducted last March 1, 2019. There is
only one item included in the said report your honor with
corresponding recommendation. Your honor majority of
members of the committee have affixed their signature. Thus,
may i respectfully move for the adoption of the said committee

THE COMMITTEE REPORT is A PROPOSED ORDINANCE
TEMPORARILY CLOSING ABAYA BOULEVARD STREET AND
A PORTION OF MARCELINO STREET AT BARANGAY RIZAL,
SANTIAGO CITY DURING THE 1ST TIMPUYOG FESTIVAL
FOR THE CONDUCT OF THE TIANGGE EXHIBIT IN THE
CELEBRATION OF BARANGAY RIZAL’S 1ST TIMPUYOG
FESTIVAL.

Your honor, during the scheduled hearing, it was thoroughly

discussed the propriety of the subject proposed ordinance. The
proposed legislative measure is within the power of the

Sangguniang Panlungsod and also manifesting our
commitment in promoting our local customs and culture.

That being said your honor, the committee sees no problem

as to the passage of the said proposed ordinance. If there are
additional queries your honors, we have here the presence of
representatives from the Barangay Council of Rizal. May I move,
Your Honor, grant speaking rights to

enlighten this August Body pertaining to this legislative
