The Vascular System

1. What is vascular system?

The vascular system, also called the circulatory system, is made up of the vessels
that carry blood and lymph through the body. The arteries and veins carry blood
throughout the body, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the body tissues and
taking away tissue waste matter.
2. What its function?

The circulatory system is made up of the heart, blood and blood vessels known as
arteries, capillaries and veins. The heart pumps blood throughout
your body through the blood vessels. Blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to cells
and carries away carbon dioxide and other waste materials.

3. What is the important muscle function?

The heart, which is the muscular pump that circulates blood through the vascular
system.
The heart is a pump, which moves the blood. The arteries and veins are the pipes
through which the blood flows. The lungs provide a place to exchange carbon
dioxide for oxygen. The heart is a hollow, muscular organ, which functions as a
pump for the movement of blood through the body.
