Happy Falmouth Christmas! With so much happening in Falmouth over the Christmas period,
we wanted to tell you all about it! Four December late night shopping events, a covered Christmas market,
fairground organ, stilt walkers, mime performers, DJ’s, musicians and a hog roast taking place on each of the
4 nights, with the main streets closed to traffic. There’s a host of other colourful events from the Santa Fun

Children’s Parade, Switch On and
First Late Night Shopping Event
Thursday 2 Dec from 6pm
Join the celebrations with the Children’s Parade and
Christmas lights switch on, plus the first of four late
night shopping evenings. Five primary schools will gather
at Events Square to start the parade at 6pm, heading to
The Moor to meet the Falmouth School Jazz Band, for
community carols and official ‘switch on’. Falmouth is
pioneering a green theme this Christmas, with the main
streets illuminated with a 50,000 LED bulb canopy.
Craftpoint

Craftpoint showcases an eclectic mix of quality gift items
including tableware, jewellery, furniture and glassware from
Cornish based designers, many of whom are UCF graduates.
RNLI Christmas Concert
Sunday 5 Dec / 7.15pm / Princess Pavilion
Featuring Pendennis Brass Band & City of Truro Male Voice
Choir, with all monies raised going towards the RNLI.

Late Night Shopping Event
Thursday 9 Dec
Don’t miss Falmouth’s second late night opening. Live
street entertainment plus the Christmas Window Spotting
Competition, which takes place between 3pm and 7pm.

German Christmas Bierkeller Night
Friday 10 Dec / 7pm / The Moor
In the marquee on The Moor, an evening of festive
merriment and song! Admission free.
Market on the Moor
11 - 22 Dec
Great Christmas gifts at the undercover market, open
late on 16 Dec (till 9pm) with a range of art and food
stalls. Including a jewellery market on 14 Dec and charity
market on 15 Dec.
Santa Fun Run

Help spread some Christmas cheer! 200 ‘Santas’ will run
or walk through the town in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care.
